Jimmy Fallon has said repeatedly that he's a fan of video games, but to this point, he hasn't had one of the funniest people in the industry on his show. That's about to change though, as Double Fine Productions founder Tim Schafer is reportedly slated to appear on Late Night With Jimmy Fallon in early October.
According to Kotaku, co-producer Gavin Purcell said that Schafer will be talking about gaming and "other stuff," and that he'll be appearing without Jack Black. The appearance is meant to introduce non-gamers to Schafer, he said.
This isn't the first time that Fallon has covered games, having previously challenged Tiger Woods in PGA Tour 10, tried out Project Natal and checked out E3. But this is a welcome opportunity for someone who's well known in the industry to get some more exposure outside of it.
